Our Programs

We've built a progression of learning experiences that develop real technology capability — from your first three hours in Bedrock 101 all the way to paid work with local organizations. Start at the beginning or jump in where it makes sense for you.

Workshops

Hands-on instruction in computing, programming, and technology fundamentals

Our workshops are a great way to learn and practice new skills in a semi-structured environment. We're offering a few different week-long workshops this summer, as well as some standalone sessions on topics like Git, building a PC, and how the internet works.

The Forge

A mentor-supported cohort working through a full web development curriculum

Had enough of workshops & want to go deeper? The Forge is a cohort-based, self-directed, mentor-supported collaborative learning experience where students work through a full web development curriculum together. It's designed to be the next step after workshops and open lab sessions, where students can really level up their skills and confidence.

Community of Practice

Where experienced members take on harder problems together

Students who've put in real time through workshops, The Forge, and open lab sessions naturally reach a point where they're taking ownership of harder problems, mentoring newer members, and stewarding projects over time. That's the Community of Practice. Operating as a self-directed, member-led group with mentor support, it's where experienced students can really stretch themselves and take on more responsibility on projects that impact the our program and beyond.

Apprenticeships & Internships

Supported paid work with local businesses and organizations

For students who've proven themselves through open lab work and are ready for professional responsibilities. We connect capable students with local businesses and organizations for paid work, with mentorship and backup throughout. The full program is still taking shape, but this is where the pipeline leads.
